Alexis and Christine started Koczara and Shevchenko Casting in 2005.  They originally met when they were paired up to teach a seminar together.  They became the best of friends and eventually Christine moved over to work for with Alexis at Vicki Rosenberg & Associates to cast the final seasons of Judging Amy and Joan of Arcadia, as well as the pilot for Bones.  The following year Alexis & Christine partnered, and have had the good fortune to work on both comedy and drama over the last decade.
